Gritty Pic – James Holcomb
Great shot from Gritty Man Club’s Member James Holcomb. This is located somewhere in the backcountry of Utah.
James spent 4 days hanging out with his best friend Cody, unplugging and reconnecting.
In 1991, James spent 3 months in the backcountry of Australia volunteering with the Australian Trust for Conservation. James was helping to improve the trail system and restoring the habitate in the remote Mutawintji National Park.
James’s first experience of backpacking and camping was his trip to Kakadu National Park in Australia. He spent 2 weeks backpacking and camping in the Park.
This trip helped him to appreciate the outdoors; he tries to get away and into the backcountry as often as possible.
James understands the importance of getting away, unplugging and reconnecting.
He is a Gritty Man!
